Here at Marion ISD you get to pick the grade levels/teaching assignments you would like to accept.  Working in a small school setting can give you experience if you desire to pursue your teaching career, or just supplement your income.  We welcome retired teachers, ex-military, and anyone wanting to work in an educational setting.  Minimum Age Requirements: You must be 21 years old.

On-Line Substitute Application Are not complete.  Required documentation that MUST be attached is obtained by going back to district webpage/departments/human resource/substitute information.  Look for link for SUBSTITUTE ADDENDUM.  Download and Complete , then call the number listed below to set up an appointment to come in to complete paperwork.  Appointments are mandatory for this process, and remember to bring in all required documentation to complete your addendum(social security card/driver's license/college transcripts).

  If you are unable to download, you can obtained a copy by coming into Central Office, or by requesting same to be mailed or emailed to you.  All Documentation must be complete BEFORE Substitute Application will be considered and you must attend substitute orientation which is Mandatory. 

Remember, you must complete the fingerprinting process before you can start in classroom.  All fingerprinting fees are paid by substitute.

NOTE:  We are opening up Sub Applications YEAR ROUND.....you will be given a short orientation, but you will still be required to attend SRP training/orientation when the schedule is set.  Failure to do so, and you will be removed from our active list for the remainder of the school year.
