Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
Valid LVN license to practice nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
Valid Health Aide Certificate
Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening,preferred
CPR Certification and spinal screening,preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of basic first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop database and do word processing
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Experience:
One year experience in health-related position, preferred
ON-Line Substitute Application Are not complete. Required documentation that MUST be attached can only be obtained by coming into Central Office, or by requesting same to be mailed or emailed to you. All Documentation must be complete BEFORE Substitute Application will be considered and you must attend substitute orientation which is Mandatory, you must complete and return the Applicaton Addendum that will be emailed to you shortly after receipt of your on-line application before you will be notified of orientation, which will be held sometime in August. Remember, you must complete the fingerprinting process before you can start in classroom. All fingerprinting fees are paid by substitute.

Salary Range 65-75 per day, depending on Level of Education.
